These are my current and past projects for the web. Some are personal projects and others are commercial sites that I have done.

Beautiful American Rose Gardens This is my latest project. Another site for a book. It is all finished now. Check it out! The Granger Papers Project This is a site redesign I did for Vince and Kay Morgan. Independent research and publication centering on their extensive collection of personal expedition diaries, letters, photographs and memorabilia of turn-of-the-century American paleontologist Walter Granger (1872-1941) and his wife Anna Granger (1874-1952). Splendid Slippers A site for the book Splendid Slippers: A Thousand Years of an Erotic Tradition. A very good book about Chinese footbinding and the exquisite shoes they wore. The China Years A collection of letters, pictures and other documentation of the time my grandparents were in China from 1923 to 1926. Now listed at Lives, the Biography Resource. Color Pre-Press This is my personal project. I have been doing color pre-press for eight years now for Smythe & Son Printing which is owned by my father and brother. I taught a color pre-press class for two years at Center for Electronic Arts here in San Francisco. One thing that we find with our clients is that they appreciate and benefit from learning something about the process it takes to prepare their files for printing. I hope to help designers and printers work better together to produce the work that the designer had envisioned. Smythe & Son Smythe & Son is our family business. We are commercial printers but are also computer addicts (as you can tell from my site!) and are branching out to web site development. Now I'm finally working on our site.
